8-SOIC: Standard 0.3" spacing between pins and 0.15" wide IC packages. Will fit directly into a slim (300 mil) DIP socket. For slim ICs (memories, 74s, etc).

40 Pin break-away headers are perfect for use with these custom PCBs. Machine pin headers may be a better option for IC sockets.
